Privacy Policy — China Long-Stay

The short version: We collect your email address (if you give it to us) and basic purchase information. We use it to send you the guides you asked for and occasional updates. We never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect, and why

Third-party services we use

We keep these to a minimum, and each only receives what it needs to do its job:

Kit (ConvertKit) — email delivery and newsletter management
Lemon Squeezy — payment processing, tax collection, and product delivery (our merchant of record)
Tally — optional buyer survey responses

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Your payment card details go directly to Lemon Squeezy's secure checkout — we never see or store card numbers.

What we never do

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We never send marketing emails you didn't ask for. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to: tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it entirely. Email hello@chinalongstay.com and we'll action requests within 30 days. This policy and these rights are designed to satisfy UK GDPR / EU GDPR obligations for our European readers, as well as New Zealand Privacy Act principles.

How long we keep data

Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed for tax and refund purposes. Survey responses are kept in anonymous-aggregated form after the research period ends.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we'll note the change date at the top and, where practical, notify subscribers by email.
